South Palm Desert is the creme de la creme for me in the desert. That’s why when I found a really nice 3 bedroom condo for only $169,000, at first I didn’t believe it. So I went and took a look.
Yeah, it’s a short sale. So you have to be ready for a 3 month closing and the chance tha the bank denies the price. But the agent posted it on the MLS so you also have to figure at least she thinks it has a shot.
The condo was really clean in a small complex just about 2 blocks up from El Paseo. that means you can easily walk or even ride a bike to Starbucks, the Gardens, or even the Mall without breaking a sweat getting back up the hill. 2 blocks is nothing.
This place is move in ready. It’s part of a small complex of maybe a dozen condos and the HOA’s are only @$300 a month. It comes with great green space and a relaxing pool, and that’s it.
At this price it can be an inexpensive place to live or even a rental that can turn a profit from day one. The comps run about $1500-$1800 in the area.
So that’s it. This is my first Best Deal.
